Village Hall Private Hire
Spixworth Village Hall is managed by a committee of trustees and elected user group members. Their responsibility is to ensure that the hall runs effectively, is well maintained, suitably equipped, clean and meets the required standards.
The Village Hall complex consists of the main hall with a stage area. This has sufficient space for up to 150 people and can be laid out to any requirement, from an informal gathering to a full wedding reception. In addition, there are two smaller rooms which are also available for hire. The premises are fully accessible with sufficient parking for up to 50 vehicles.
BOOKINGS
Please contact on 07384 448096 or at village.hall@spixworth-pc.org.uk for a booking form and a copy of our hirer pack which contains further information about hiring the Village Hall. Please note that the Hall is not staffed, nor open outside of hire periods; therefore we shall reply to your messages as soon as we can.
DEPOSITS
A non-refundable deposit of £60 is required at the time of booking. (please note that bookings are NOT confirmed until receipt of booking form and deposit).
A damage deposit of £100 is also required for private event hire, this will be refunded on a satisfied inspection of the area used after the event. (please note any damages MUST be reported to the administration officer Mandy Orford.
MAIN HALL (PRIVATE HIRE RATES)
Event Hire - Half Day Hire (5.00pm - Midnight) £195 plus bar hire if required
Event Hire - Full Day Hire (9.30am - Midnight) £390 plus bar hire if required
MAIN HALL (REGUALR HIRE RATES)
Regular Hire Rate (Spixworth Resident) - 2024-25 £ 12 per hour/ £14 per hour (Non Resident)
CHILDREN'S PARTIES
£65-(Based on a maximum hire of 4 hours, including set-up & tidy-away)
ROOM 84
£8 Per hour (Capacity 30 people)
SOCIAL CLUB BAR
The Village Hall complex has an independent, licensed bar provided through the Social Club. If you would like the use of the bar the connecting doors will be opened providing access through to the lounge bar. There is an extra charge of £35 made payable to the Social Club for use of the bar.
PLEASE NOTE: The Social Club has a responsibility to make sure that no alcoholic drinks are served or consumed by persons under the age of 18 years as this could jeopardize it's Licence. Please be aware that the Bar Staff will ask for ID.
OUT OF HOURS CONTACT
Please contact the administration officer Mandy Orford in advance of the function date to agree the times, we will arrange for the Caretaker to unlock and lock the premises or to arrange the handover of a key for you to use.
Following your function, the Village Hall Management Committee expects the premises to be left in a clean and safe condition.
