THE BIG BROADLAND LITTER PICK 2022
Wednesday, 16 March 2022
We are excited to announce the launch of a new incentivised volunteer litter picking scheme that will be running in our district, called The Big Broadland Litter Pick 2022. This scheme will be running parallel to the Great British Spring Clean scheme ran by Keep Britain Tidy and The Big South Norfolk Litter Pick. The scheme will commence on 14th March and run until 31st June.
The Big Broadland Litter Pick aims to encourage community groups to take part in maintaining and improving the appearance of their local area. Broadland District will provide the necessary equipment (litter pickers, hi-vis vests and rubbish sacks), guidance on health and safety, how to set up an event, and promotional material for the event. There will also be a £20 reward to groups that take part and entry into a prize draw for the chance to win £200! In order to do this, please make sure you fill in the form attached after the event and return it to the parish clerk.
For anyone who is interested in taking part, please contact the Parish Clerk at
spc.clerk@spixworth-pc.org.uk to help you with organising, promoting and undertaking the pick itself.
